Description

The tabla is a membranophone percussion instrument (similar to bongos) which is often used in Indian classical music and in the traditional music of most south Asian countries.

the main drum is called tabla and is played with the dominant hand . Its shell is made up of wood and its tight skin produce a distinct pitch when struck. The larger bowl made up of metal having bowl shape its membrane is looser than tabla.
